Charles D'Oyly (1781–1845) was an officer in the British Civil service posted in Calcutta (Bengal state) as collector of Government Customs and Town Duties from 1812 to 1820, when he moved to Patna (Bihar state). D'Oyly was an amateur artist who extensively sketched and painted landscapes of rural India.
